The center of this city is Ardestan. The geographical location of the city of Ardestan is located in the eastern part of Isfahan and southeast of the plain of Kavir, located 110 kilometers northeast of Isfahan city and on the slopes of Mount Karkas.

The highest temperature in July and August is the lowest temperature in D and Bahman, which is about 5 degrees of the temperature difference between the northern warm areas and the southern heights that are colder.

Economic characteristics

Agriculture and horticulture is the most important activity of Ardestan people, which is mostly done in the traditional way. Its main products are wheat, barley, cucumber and oilseeds and fruit trees such as pomegranate, figs, grapes, apples, peaches, almonds, pistachios and walnuts, and pomegranates have a special reputation.

There is also a scattered distribution of salt in the river sediments. Ardestan’s industries are unique to handicrafts, such as carpet weaving, jajim and glimbafi and shawl weaving, tents and tents, and hats and gloves. But the most important of these industries is carpet which plays an important role in the economy of this city.

Roads-Ardestan is of the same importance as the road to Tehran to four provinces, Yazd, Kerman, Balochistan and Hormozgan province. The main roads of Ardestan are: a 180-km road linking Ardestan to Isfahan via an ant hill. The 110 km long asphalt road connects the city to Esfahan via Borkar. Its subways, except Ardestan, to Zareh and Kachumousqal are Ardestan, shallow and shallow.
